IICA Recruitment 2024 The Post Graduate Insolvency Programme (PGIP) is the first of its kind program for those aspiring to take up the discipline of insolvency professional as a career or seeking to take up other roles in the value chain, in India and foreign jurisdictions.
IICA Recruitment 2024 Overview:
- A student who completes the PGIP will be eligible for registration as an insolvency professional under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code 2016, without having to wait to acquire the 10-year experience required by the Code at present.
- An insolvency professional, serving as a licensed practitioner or in any other capacity, needs not only the domain knowledge but also a range of skills, multiple abilities and extraordinary qualities.
- It also needs a fair degree of appreciation of cultures, social, and other factors surrounding an insolvency proceeding. An insolvency professional also has ethical and moral obligations.
- The program offers opportunities to work with leading insolvency professionals and other stakeholders providing the graduates with the skills and experience that will help them to take their career to the next level and increase marketability to employers.
- A student can also start earning in the second year.
- The PGIP will also be of great value to those who elect to become academics or researchers or work in media houses.
IICA Recruitment 2024 Duration:
A rigorous residential classroom program spanning 12 months (equivalent to 32 weeks) will be offered.
Additionally, there will be a comprehensive internship program, providing hands-on experience at the forefront of the field, extending for 12 months (comprising 48 weeks).
IICA Recruitment 2024 Program Structure:
Preparatory Phase
The preparatory phase provides PGIP students with a strong base of knowledge that will enable them to adapt to changing conditions, including the dynamic insolvency and bankruptcy regime in India.
Specialization Phase
The Specialization subjects would impart a deep understanding of the Code and its evolution, along with the legal framework within which insolvency professionals are required to operate. This will empower PGIP students to “hit the ground running” for their internships. The IPs gain as much practical experience as possible and would make the students employable.
Personal Development
Some of the topics covered are, Leadership, Problem Solver: Data Analysis, Consensus Building and Negotiation, Communication / Writing Skills, Grooming / Persona / Gravitas, Thought Leadership, Emotional Intelligence, Self-Management, Time Management, Dealing with Stakeholders, Ethics and managing moral dilemmas and Assessment and readiness for internship.

IICA Recruitment 2024 Admission Process:
Selection Process:
- Eligible candidates will undergo a Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) assessment online.
- Based on their performance in the MCQs, candidates will be shortlisted for a Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
- These discussions and interviews will be conducted under the supervision of subject experts and faculty members.
Batch Size:
The maximum number of students to be enrolled is 52, ensuring optimal learning conditions.

Is there any age restriction for taking the exam?
The Candidate Should not be more than 28 years of age as on April 25, 2023 (age relaxation
of 33 years for SC/ST/PWD and 31 for OBC (non-creamy layer), reservation as per
government norms).
